1955 Ford F-100 Restomod Audio Upgrade

Classic trucks don't always have to stay completely original. This beautiful 1955 Ford F-100 was built with the perfect balance of vintage styling and modern convenience, and the audio system was designed to follow that same philosophy.

At the center of the installation is a custom-built center console that houses a Pioneer DMH-WC5700NEX floating multimedia receiver along with a pair of illuminated blue cup holders. The console looks right at home inside the truck while providing modern conveniences like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, navigation, and a clean, integrated appearance.

To bring the sound quality up to the same level as the interior, we installed Audison AC 165 speakers throughout the truck and added an Audison Prima APBX 10 AS2 Flax subwoofer in a custom-built enclosure. An aftermarket amplifier provides clean, efficient power to the entire system, creating rich vocals, detailed midrange, and tight, musical bass without overpowering the cabin.

The finished result perfectly blends classic styling with modern technology. From the handcrafted center console to the premium audio components, every detail was designed to enhance the driving experience while respecting the timeless character of this iconic Ford pickup. Whether cruising to a local car show or heading out for a weekend drive, this F-100 now sounds every bit as impressive as it looks.
