The Story

A Jeep Wrangler is built for adventure, but the factory sound system often leaves owners wanting more. This Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon came to Sound Connection for a complete audio makeover designed to deliver exceptional sound quality while maintaining the rugged functionality the Wrangler is known for.

The centerpiece of the upgrade is a Kenwood Excelon touchscreen multimedia receiver, bringing modern features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth streaming, hands-free calling, and advanced audio tuning to the Jeep's dashboard.

To dramatically improve clarity throughout the cabin, we upgraded the factory speakers with Kenwood Excelon speakers, delivering cleaner highs, richer midrange, and noticeably improved overall sound quality. Powering the system is a Kenwood Excelon XR-Series amplifier, providing clean, efficient power that allows every speaker to perform at its best.

For added convenience and safety, we installed a rear backup camera, neatly integrated into the center of the spare tire for a factory-inspired appearance and an unobstructed view behind the vehicle.

To round out the system, we added a compact subwoofer enclosure, providing deep, accurate bass while preserving valuable cargo space—an important consideration for a vehicle that's equally at home on the trail and on the highway.

The result is a Wrangler that's ready for every adventure with premium sound, modern technology, and professional integration that looks like it belongs there. Whether the destination is the daily commute, the cabin, or the next off-road trail, this Jeep now delivers an audio experience that's every bit as capable as the vehicle itself.
