The Story

Golf carts have become so much more than transportation around the course, and this 2023 Phoenix EV proves it. The goal was to create a premium cruiser with incredible sound, eye-catching lighting, and modern conveniences that make every ride an experience.

The audio system was built around two pairs of Rockford Fosgate M2WL-65MB Element Ready wake tower speakers, providing exceptional clarity and projection whether cruising through the campground or entertaining with friends. Low-frequency performance comes from a Rockford Fosgate M2D2-10IB 10-inch infinite baffle subwoofer, while a Rockford Fosgate M5-1500X5 five-channel amplifier delivers clean, efficient power to the entire system. A Rockford Fosgate PMX-0 digital media receiver keeps Bluetooth music streaming simple and reliable.

Lighting was taken to another level with 16 feet of weatherproof RGB chasing LED light strips, creating vibrant animated lighting effects throughout the cart. Everything is controlled through a Rockford Fosgate PMX-RGB module, paired with RGB-6C and RGB-16C extension cables to create a fully synchronized lighting package. From the illuminated tower speakers to the underglow, the cart transforms into a rolling light show after dark.

To improve everyday usability, we also added a USB charging port, a power inverter for convenient AC power, and a universal hide-away dipole antenna to maintain excellent radio reception while keeping the installation clean and uncluttered.

The finished result is far more than a golf cart—it's a fully customized entertainment vehicle. Premium Rockford Fosgate audio, synchronized RGB lighting, onboard power, and professional integration combine to create a build that's equally at home on the golf course, around the campground, or leading the neighborhood cruise after sunset.
