The Story

A capable truck deserves lighting that's just as capable. This 1992 Chevrolet K1500 came to Sound Connection for a series of practical upgrades designed to improve visibility, functionality, and everyday convenience.

We installed a roof-mounted LED light bar, providing exceptional forward illumination for off-road adventures, hunting trips, and dark back roads. To improve usability around the truck, we also added a COB LED strip inside the bed, making it easy to load cargo, hook up trailers, or find gear after sunset.

To complete the package, we installed a new trailer connector and integrated OEM-style switches into the dashboard, giving the owner dedicated control over both the roof light bar and the bed lighting. The clean switch installation blends seamlessly with the factory interior while keeping the controls within easy reach.

Every wire was carefully routed and protected to ensure long-term reliability, resulting in an installation that looks as good as it performs. Whether it's hauling equipment, towing a trailer, or exploring after dark, this K1500 is now better equipped for whatever the job demands.
