The Story

Just because a truck has been on the road for years doesn't mean it has to feel outdated. This 2006 Ford Super Duty came to Sound Connection looking for a technology upgrade that would make everyday driving safer, easier, and more enjoyable.

We installed a Jensen CAR910W 9-inch floating touchscreen receiver, bringing modern features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, navigation, and hands-free calling to the dashboard. The large floating display completely transforms the interior while maintaining a clean, professional appearance.

To complement the new head unit, we added an EchoMaster PCAM-DPLLP backup camera. The 9-inch display provides an excellent view behind the truck, making it much easier to back into parking spaces, line up trailers, and maneuver in tight areas with confidence.

The finished installation proves you don't need a brand-new truck to enjoy today's technology. By combining a modern touchscreen receiver with a high-quality backup camera, this Super Duty is better equipped for work, towing, and everyday driving while maintaining the reliability that has made these trucks legendary.
