2006 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Rockford Fosgate Audio Upgrade

The 2006 Harley-Davidson Street Glide started a legacy that's still going strong today, but nearly two decades later, the original audio technology leaves plenty of room for improvement.

This 2006 Street Glide FLHX came to Sound Connection for a Rockford Fosgate PMX-STG2 audio upgrade, giving the bike modern features and significantly improved sound while maintaining a clean, factory-style installation.

At the center of the system is the Rockford Fosgate PMX-HD9813 direct-fit replacement radio, designed specifically for 1998–2013 Harley-Davidson Touring motorcycles. The new source unit brings modern Bluetooth audio streaming and updated controls to the factory dash without requiring the kind of modifications associated with installing a universal aftermarket radio.

The Stage 2 upgrade also replaces the original fairing speakers with Rockford Fosgate motorcycle-specific speakers, providing improved clarity, output, and performance designed to remain audible while riding at highway speeds.
