2008 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic Stage 2 Audio Upgrade

The Harley-Davidson Road King Classic has always been about timeless styling and long-distance comfort, but after years on the road, the factory audio system simply can't compete with today's technology. This 2008 Road King Classic came to Sound Connection looking for a complete audio transformation that would modernize the bike without compromising its classic character.

We installed the Rockford Fosgate HD9813RK-STAGE2 system, a purpose-built upgrade designed specifically for 1998–2013 Harley-Davidson Road Kings. The package includes a direct-replacement digital media receiver with Bluetooth streaming, premium 6.5-inch fairing speakers, a dedicated four-channel amplifier, and all of the plug-and-play wiring needed for a factory-quality installation. The system is engineered to overcome wind, engine, and road noise while maintaining exceptional clarity at highway speeds.

Because every component is designed specifically for the Road King platform, the installation integrates cleanly with the motorcycle while preserving its iconic appearance. The upgraded source unit adds modern convenience, allowing the rider to stream music wirelessly and enjoy a dramatically improved listening experience on every ride.
