2016 Harley-Davidson Road King Stage 2 Audio Upgrade

The Harley-Davidson Road King has earned its reputation as one of the most timeless touring motorcycles ever built. This 2016 Road King came to Sound Connection looking for an audio system that could match the experience of spending long days on the open road.

We installed the Rockford Fosgate HD9813RK-STAGE2 audio system, a complete package engineered specifically for Harley-Davidson Road Kings. The system includes a premium digital media receiver with Bluetooth streaming, upgraded fairing speakers, a dedicated high-performance amplifier, and plug-and-play wiring designed to integrate seamlessly with the motorcycle. Every component works together to produce the volume and clarity needed to overcome wind and engine noise at highway speeds.

To further enhance the system, we added Rockford Fosgate bag lid speaker lids, expanding the soundstage and providing significantly greater output for both rider and passenger. The additional rear speakers create a fuller, more immersive listening experience while maintaining a clean, factory-inspired appearance.

The finished result is a Road King that's every bit as enjoyable to listen to as it is to ride.
