The Story

The Can-Am Defender HD10 is built to work hard, but that doesn't mean you have to settle for a quiet ride. This 2018 Defender came to Sound Connection looking for a simple, durable audio system that could handle everything from long days on the job to weekends on the trail.

We installed a Rockford Fosgate PMX-2 marine digital media receiver, giving the owner Bluetooth streaming, AM/FM radio, and easy-to-use controls in a receiver designed specifically for harsh outdoor environments. Built to withstand dust, moisture, vibration, and changing weather conditions, it's right at home in a UTV.

To complete the system, we installed Rockford Fosgate speakers in the factory overhead compartment, creating a clean, OEM-style installation that keeps the speakers protected while delivering clear, powerful sound throughout the cab. The overhead mounting also helps project the music toward the occupants, making it easier to hear over engine and trail noise.

The finished result is a simple, reliable upgrade that dramatically improves every ride. Whether it's hauling supplies around the property, checking fences, hunting, or hitting the trails with friends, this Defender now has the soundtrack to match every adventure.
