2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392 Premium Audio Overhaul

The Wrangler Rubicon 392 is one of Jeep's most capable and exciting vehicles ever built, but even a V8-powered off-road icon deserves an audio system to match. This 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 392 came to Sound Connection for a complete premium audio overhaul that would deliver world-class sound while retaining full factory functionality.

The front stage was built around Audison Voce OS 165FXE component speakers mounted in JP-1014 dash pods, creating outstanding imaging and clarity for both driver and passenger. The rear received a pair of Audison Prima PC 165FE coaxial speakers, providing balanced sound throughout the cabin.

At the heart of the system is an AudioControl D-6.1200 DSP amplifier, giving every speaker dedicated power along with precise digital signal processing for time alignment, crossover management, and equalization. An AudioControl ACR-3 remote level controller allows the driver to make quick adjustments from the driver's seat.

For low-frequency performance, we designed and built a custom sealed enclosure housing two JL Audio 12TW3-D8 slim 12-inch subwoofers. Powered by an AudioControl LC-1.800 monoblock amplifier, the system delivers deep, accurate bass without sacrificing valuable cargo space.

To retain every factory feature, we integrated the system using the NAV-TV AP4-CH41 integration module and APH-CH03 T-harness, allowing the aftermarket equipment to work seamlessly with the OEM radio while preserving factory controls and functionality.

The finished result is an audio system worthy of Jeep's flagship Wrangler. Crisp highs, detailed midrange, powerful low-end, and professional DSP tuning combine to create an immersive listening experience whether the top is on, the doors are off, or the trail disappears into the horizon. This is exactly what a premium Jeep audio system should sound like.
