The Story

Who says vehicle lighting upgrades are just for cars and trucks?

This 2023 John Deere S180 came to Sound Connection looking for better visibility while mowing during the early morning and evening hours. The factory halogen headlights got the job done—but there was plenty of room for improvement.

We upgraded the original 1157 halogen bulbs with a pair of 20Twenty Lighting Gold Series LED bulbs, producing a brighter, cleaner beam with significantly improved visibility across the yard. The new LEDs provide better illumination while drawing less power than the factory bulbs, making them a practical upgrade for anyone who spends time behind the wheel after dark.

Installation was quick, clean, and completely reversible, giving the mower a modern lighting upgrade without altering its original appearance.

Whether you're finishing up after work, clearing leaves in the fall, or simply trying to beat the summer heat with an evening mow, improved lighting makes the job easier and safer.
