The Story

Ford only built 1,964 examples of the 50 Years Limited Edition Mustang, making this 2015 Mustang GT a special piece of modern muscle car history. The owner wanted an audio system that complemented the car's performance and exclusivity without compromising its factory appearance or drivability.

The foundation of the system begins with Focal PS 165 F3 three-way Flax component speakers up front and Focal PC 165 coaxial speakers in the rear. To achieve the best possible imaging and staging, we fabricated custom tweeter pods, positioning the high-frequency drivers for exceptional clarity and a more immersive listening experience.

Power and tuning are handled by an Audison Forza AF C8.14 bit 800-watt DSP amplifier, allowing every speaker to be individually tuned for precise crossover points, equalization, and time alignment. Deep, accurate bass comes from a JL Audio subwoofer, rounding out the system with low-frequency performance that blends seamlessly with the upgraded speakers.

To maximize every component's performance, we installed F.A.S.T. Speaker Rings, applied sound-deadening materials throughout key areas of the vehicle, upgraded the battery to support the increased electrical demand, and completed an infotainment head unit conversion that modernizes the factory interface while maintaining an OEM-quality appearance.

The finished result is an audio system worthy of one of Ford's most collectible modern Mustangs. Every detail—from the custom fabrication to the DSP tuning—was designed to create a listening experience that's as refined as the car itself. Whether carving through back roads or cruising on the highway, this 50 Years Limited Edition Mustang now sounds every bit as special as it looks.
