The Story

A day on the lake deserves an audio system that's just as enjoyable as the boat itself. This 2019 Bennington came to Sound Connection looking for a marine audio system that could deliver exceptional sound quality whether cruising across the lake or relaxing at the sandbar.

We built the system around three pairs of Rockford Fosgate M2-65B marine speakers, providing rich, detailed sound throughout the boat with the volume needed to overcome wind, water, and engine noise. To add serious low-end performance, we flush-mounted a Rockford Fosgate M2D4-12IB 12-inch infinite baffle subwoofer, giving the system deep, impactful bass without sacrificing valuable storage space.

Powering the entire system is a Rockford Fosgate M5-1500X5 five-channel marine amplifier, delivering clean, efficient power to every speaker and the subwoofer. The result is a perfectly balanced system with outstanding clarity, dynamic output, and bass that you can feel as much as hear.

Every component in this installation was selected specifically for life on the water. Rockford Fosgate's M2 Series is engineered to withstand the harsh marine environment while providing the performance expected from a premium audio system.
