2023 Ford F-150 Under-Seat Bass Upgrade

The factory audio system in today's trucks has come a long way, but when it comes to low-end performance, there's still plenty left on the table. This 2023 Ford F-150 came to Sound Connection looking for a bass upgrade that would deliver serious output without sacrificing the truck's clean interior or rear seat functionality.

We installed a Fox Acoustics under-seat ported enclosure loaded with two Rockford Fosgate P3D4-10 10-inch subwoofers, creating a system that fits neatly beneath the rear seat while producing deep, powerful bass. To drive the subwoofers, we paired them with an Audison SR 1.500 monoblock amplifier, providing clean, efficient power and outstanding control.

To retain all of the truck's factory features, we integrated the system using a line output converter, allowing the aftermarket equipment to work seamlessly with the OEM radio. The owner keeps the factory look, factory controls, and factory functionality while enjoying a dramatic improvement in sound quality.

The finished installation is completely hidden, preserving the truck's practicality while transforming the listening experience.
