The Story

This 2025 Can-Am Defender came to Sound Connection with a simple goal: make the factory audio system enjoyable without turning the vehicle into an over-the-top competition build.

To accomplish that, we installed a complete Kenwood audio package consisting of upgraded Kenwood speakers, a Kenwood amplifier to deliver clean, reliable power, and a Kenwood KMR-XM500 digital media receiver. Together, these components dramatically improve sound quality, increase overall volume, and provide the clarity needed to enjoy music even with engine noise and open-air riding conditions.

The KMR-XM500 receiver adds modern functionality while the amplifier ensures the speakers perform at their full potential. The finished system is perfect for trail riding, weekends at camp, hunting property, or working around the farm—delivering great sound without unnecessary complexity.
