This 2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV SS received a no-compromise custom audio system featuring four Rockford Fosgate P3 15-inch subwoofers, a custom fiberglass enclosure, Hertz DSP integration, premium power upgrades, and an Escort Redline 360C radar system. Built specifically for the unique challenges of a modern electric vehicle, the finished installation delivers massive bass while maintaining a clean, factory-quality appearance.

Behind the Build

The Story

Modern electric vehicles present a completely different set of challenges than traditional gas-powered vehicles, especially when it comes to integrating high-performance audio equipment. This 2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV SS came to Sound Connection with one goal: build an uncompromising bass system while maintaining the reliability and clean appearance expected from a brand-new vehicle.

To properly integrate with the factory infotainment system, we installed a Hertz S8 DSP, providing clean OEM signal integration and the tuning flexibility needed for premium sound quality. The heart of the system is a custom fiberglass enclosure housing four Rockford Fosgate P3 15-inch subwoofers, carefully fabricated to maximize output while blending seamlessly with the vehicle's interior. The enclosure was finished in color-matched suede and carpet, creating a factory-inspired appearance that looks right at home in the cargo area.

Powering the entire system is a Rockford Fosgate T2500BDCP amplifier supported by two XS Power Titan8+ (RSV-46) batteries mounted in the rear, a Stinger 500-amp battery isolator, and upgraded chassis grounds to provide the electrical stability required for a system of this caliber.

While the vehicle was in the shop, we also installed an Escort Redline 360C radar detector with the ZR6 laser shifter package and a BlendMount mirror mount, adding another layer of technology for long-distance driving.

The finished result is a clean, factory-quality installation that proves modern EVs can support serious custom audio when they're engineered correctly. From OEM integration and DSP tuning to custom fabrication and extreme bass systems, Sound Connection has the experience to build solutions for today's most advanced vehicles.
